Meghan Markle to celebrate Christmas with royal family
The former Suits star is about to have one very merry Christmas.
E! News reports that Meghan Markle will join her fiancé, Prince Harry, and his family for the holidays, making Christmas a royal affair. According to the celeb news site, the British royal family, led by matriarch Queen Elizabeth II, will attend a morning service at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Norfolk on December 25, 2017.
"You can expect to see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Harry and Ms. Markle at Sandringham on Christmas Day," a spokesperson for Kensington Palace shared.Why you don't hear from Drew Barrymore anymore
And while spending the holiday season with a significant other's loved ones is already typically a big deal, Markle's Christmas plans actually mark a major change for the royals. People reports that Markle will become "the first royal fiancée to spend Christmas Day with the royal family."
The magazine notes that even Prince William and Kate Middleton had to spend their holidays apart after they announced their engagement in November 2010.
